* Maintenance (Sidewinder)
Sidewinder does NOT expire, and maintenance is NOT required to continue using the software. Furthermore, our users can reinstall Sidewinder on as many computers and as often as needed.
However, our annual maintenance plan provides users with new updates, improved features, updated standards, bug fixes, technical support, and much more. It also provides us with the resources to continue keeping Sidewinder on the cutting edge of conveyor technology!
In 2004 the cost for a full year of maintenance was $995. Now, over 20 years later, we are proud to have never increased this price. We strongly believe that this philosophy has forced us to continue to improve the software for our users year over year. We thoroughly enjoy adding new features, and working with new conveyor engineers.
** Maintenance (PAX / Newton)
Both PAX and Newton require an annual maintenance plan to continue to operate.
PAX is an addon feature to Sidewinder. As such it requires an initial purchase of the Sidewinder software.
Newton Chute Lite is included FREE of charge with any Sidewinder license. It also requires a current Sidewinder annual maintenance plan to continue operating passed the first year. Newton Chute, which is simply a more powerful version of Newton Chute Lite, is a standalone program. It can be purchased at a discount for Sidewinder owners.
All of AC-Tek’s software products have been designed to work hand and hand which each other.
Multiple License Discounts
The price of the software is $4,495 for a single user license, and $6,995 for a network license. Additional licenses are $2,995 for single users, and $3,495 for network seats. Below are a few examples of various pricing options. Please note the special discounted price for three or more licenses when purchased together.
- Single User Standalone License – $4,495
- Two Single User Standalone Licenses – $4,495 + $2,995 = $7,490
- One User Network License – $6,995
- Two User Network Licenses – $6,995 + $3,495 = $10,490
- Three User Network Licenses – $6,995 + 2 x $3,495 = $13,985 (plus 10% 3+ user discount) = $12,585
- Two User Network Licenses & One Single User Standalone License – $6,995 + $3,495 + 2,995 = $13,485 (plus 10% 3+ user discount) = $12,135
